i used to be an inmate at avenal 2002 to 2004. i worked the outside crew job and worked with these feral cats on a daily basis. im a big cat lover and i hate what (some) staff  are doing to these cats. i bookmarked this site and will wish the best for these cats. i hope you can find homes for every single one of these cats. i wish there was more i could do to help but i just cant at this time. just want you to know, i was there. i know whats going on.  wish you all the best of luck.      FYI, the cat cemetary was actually there back in 2004. it was just the begining but it was there

Mr. ?  I know if you worked on the outside crew then you know the story behind our fight for the feral cats on prison grounds.  If you worked on the cat cemetary then you know the heart break when the warden dug it up Yes that is true the cat cemetary  was actually there back in 2004. it was just the begining but it was there. Yes I was working on getting it approved  the warden at the time to be able to complete the project. As you know I have had many battles for the fight of the feral cats.  But I wont give up my fight to keep them safe. I am sure if you worked on the outside crew then you know me and know I am not going to stop.. For you have seen war I am up against.  You can follow out site here, facebook, Cat-share Again thanks for supporting out website

This is a message from Feral Paws Rescue Group.  This is a site to help save the feral cats in harmsway but yet some of you think its funny to sign into our guess book with  non-related cat statements.

Please Stop Posting Non-Related Cat Issues.....

Jennifer,  I make contact with the farmers and then go out and check out the area and go over with them what they plan to do with the cat(s) placed on their farm. I mainly feel them out and you will know if they are right for your cats that your placing. But always go back and check that the cat(s) are taken to their new home

Thank you for all you do for our Animal FRIENDS! I have a feral colony that i care for in my backyard and shed. Some just come to eat and leave twice a day. 4 live here all the time. I have been able to tnr all but 1 who had another set of kittens. This time though she had them in one of the Winter boxes where I can finally trap her and get her spayed. I wish People could have compassion and know these poor cats never asked to be here but are a result of irresponsible pet owners.

I feed and water 10 ferrel cats whom are victims of foreclosed homeowners. If the article I just read is TRUE, alls I can say, is, that in my opinion, someone ought to take Warden Mendosa and send her back to Mexico with the rest of 'em!

It would be great to have an upcoming action section on this website. I'd be happy to picket/protest/march, but I'd need to know when its going to happen. Keep up the awesome work! Thanks.

We take care of FIV (positive) and FELV (positive) cats in our home as well as vaccinated healthy cats. We love them all for always. Even people that are incarcerated deserve the love and comfort a cat can provide them. Cats need people and people need cats.

I found loving homes for many of the kitties from five yard. When I brought home Creepers, she was almost staved to death. She was just skin over bones and could barely walk. She reeked with infection. She was raised by our pomeranian. Now she is thriving and my granddaughter adores her. Many thanks to my Lt. for assisting in her rescue. She is a joy.

Thank God there are animal lovers like us in the world who take the time to care. You have done a great job with this website. I had no idea that this was going on so very close to my own home. It breaks my heart and fills my eyes with tears to know that these kinds of things are happening in our world. There is just no reason for it at all. Thank you for all that you do for these fur-babies...they are blessed to have you. :)
