When viewing this page use CAUTION as many of these photos are disturbing! These are photos of some of the cats that have been trapped on the Avenal State Prison grounds at the orders of the Warden by staff at the prison who are not trained to properly trap feral cats! This inhuman and cruel
practice has been addressed at the Warden's level..... but again nothing has been done by the Warden's office to stop this cruel method of trapping that is continuously going on with the feral cats on prison grounds. Please help us stop this. Please speak for the cats who can not speak for themselves by contacting the proper authorities and making your voice heard. There is a list of contacts on our home page.
