A Special Thank You To Diabella...
Diabella who has a Cat Rescue and Dressed Cat Graphics site stumbled upon us in late February of 2009. Being impressed with and grateful for the work Feral Paws was doing, she offered to create one of her custom bannersets for us free of charge. One thing led to another and one by one she began to revamp every page on our site with her cat graphics, with custom graphics, and by re-doing our layout and a lot of our cat photos. This took weeks of day and night work. Why would she do this? I'll let her tell you:
March 12, 2009; I met Paula of Feral Paws just weeks ago while searching the web and was very moved by her site and the work that she was doing and what she has accomplished... not to mention all of the cats she has saved. It has been my pleasure to do revamp her site and I will help her in any way that I can. Having a rescue site myself, and having worked on the web and with several shelters here in New York for many years, I know the plight of the ferals and strays all too well.
This is something I wrote for my site years ago: "To save or better the life of just one animal is a triumph and a celebration. Happy endings don't just happen. They are a mixture of longing, determination and effort."
I post it here because after working with Paula for the last weeks I can truly say that longing, determination and effort describe what she is all about when it comes to the cats."
